Wind Zipline – Instant Challenge Setup

This was a pretty simple setup that my father and I built. Once we got the plywood triangles cut, it was just a matter of measuring the cable and adjusting it to achieve the right amount of tension. The two triangle end pieces are connected with three 8ft 2×2’s.

This instant challenge, and the few that we’ve reused this setup for, consisted of either a box fan to propel a device along the zipline, or team members blowing/waving their device down the zipline without touching it.
