This is obviously an adaptation of the other heavy duty wooden shelving I’ve built – this one was ridiculously tall, but allowed for the entire back wall of a third garage to be used as storage space.

I built these shelves for my sister’s family, and organized their garage to provide better access to its contents. These are about 6ft tall, 2ft deep and 8ft wide. I made the basic platforms quickly out of 2x4s and 1/4 inch plywood, and then tacked them up with 2×4 legs....
